Egypt Launches PropTech Hub: First Dedicated Real Estate Tech Investment Platform
Three major players in Egypt's real estate and venture capital ecosystem have joined forces to launch PropTech Hub, the first specialized investment and development company focused exclusively on real estate technology (PropTech) in Egypt and the broader region. Coldwell Banker Commercial Advantage, Edafa Venture, and Prime Group Egypt announced the establishment on May 23, 2026, in Cairo. The platform extends an existing PropTech Program that had been operating as an accelerator initiative, now evolving into a fully-fledged investment vehicle. PropTech Hub plans to provide capital, mentorship, and market access to startups building solutions for smarter urban planning, digital sales channels, property management, and investment process automation. The launch responds to growing demand in Egypt and the region for technology-driven solutions in one of the largest real estate markets in the Middle East. Egypt's real estate sector has historically been slow to adopt digital tools, but rapid urbanization, a young population, and government-backed smart city initiatives are creating fertile ground for PropTech innovation. The hub plans to host regular Demo Days and has outlined plans to expand its investment mandate across North Africa and the Gulf.
Egypt's real estate sector is one of the largest in MENA but digitally underserved. PropTech Hub filling this gap could unlock a wave of innovation — and for developers in the region, it signals growing investor appetite for vertical-specific AI and SaaS solutions.
What types of startups will PropTech Hub invest in?
PropTech Hub targets startups building digital solutions for real estate — including smart planning tools, digital sales platforms, property management SaaS, construction tech, and AI-driven investment analytics for the Egyptian and regional markets.
