I’m Samir George, a Senior Web Developer based in Cairo. I work where business requirements, customer experience and technical implementation meet.
How I got here.
My earlier work in marketing, hosting support and release testing gave me different views of the same problem: what a business wants a system to do, and what people need when they use it.
I’ve worked as a freelance e-commerce developer since 2019, building on that experience through WordPress development at Innova Wide and a Senior Web Developer role at Andersen in Egypt.
At Andersen, much of my OVZA work started with a short verbal request or an incomplete screen. I developed the missing steps and built the plugins behind checkout, post-payment communication and order tracking.
That is the work I find most interesting: turning an initial request into something that makes sense across the customer journey and the operations behind it.

Where I’m heading.
I’m exploring digital-platform engineering and Technical Product Owner opportunities where I can combine hands-on development with more responsibility for requirements and product decisions.
I’m looking for a team that values clear requirements, thoughtful implementation and a sustainable delivery process.
